St Bernard dogs are strong, muscular, large and with powerful head. Basically they are two varieties of Saint Bernard dogs – Short haired and smooth coat or long haired and rough coat. Weight of fully grown male St Bernard dogs is over 200 pounds i.e. around 90 Kg. and height is between 27 to 35 inches i.e. 70 to 90 cm. St Bernard breed is generally very gentle, patient, obedient, and extremely loyal. They are very easy to train but it is advisable to train them when they are younger. Giant is the perfect word for this breed of dogs. Their size makes them a right choice for watchdog. Life span of St Barnard dogs is around 8 to 10 years.

Spaniels are proficient in hunting in open grounds, woodlands, farmlands, and marshy lands. Setter dogs have derived their name from a peculiar characteristic. Setters use scent of game for searching the hunt. As soon as the game is located, setters freeze there and there instead of chasing after the game. This distinctive stance or crouch or set upon finding the game led to the name setter.

Feature of Russian wolfhound dogs: Tall with long, thin and narrow head; long curved tail; eyes are dark and oblong; ears lying backwards on the neck; top coat is long and silky with curls or wavy and undercoat is thick in extreme cold terrains but it shed the undercoat in warmer climate or regions. Russian wolfhound comes in golden, white, tan and gray or any color combination. Qualities and temperament of Russian wolfhound dogs: active, intelligent, sweet, loyal to family, affectionate, slightly obedient, good learners, swift, gentle and sensitive.

Russian wolfhound dogs have a typical instinct to chase fleeing or running animals and since they are swift they can hunt or catch the fleeing animal in very short time. Weight is between 35 to 50 Kg and minimum height is around 28 inches. Average life span of Russian wolfhound is around 10 to 12 years.
