Yorkie or Yorkshire terrier belongs to a breed of small dog. Yorkie, a beautiful dog with silky long hair belongs to terrier breed. Yorkie with its blue and tan coat is very popular due to mischievous behavior. Yorkie is adventure friendly, energetic and always eager for teasing and mischief. Popularity wise it is considered as second most after Labrador retriever. Yorkie weighs around 7 pounds and height is around 6 inches and could be even smaller. Yorkie is still blue in color over body and tail and the color is tan elsewhere. Its head is medium sized and flat with black nose and regular teeth. Eyes of Yorkie are extremely lively. Its feet are round with black nails. Yorkie has an average life of around 12 to 15 years. Athletic build of Yorkie makes it suitable for an active lifestyle. Yorkie is very loyal and affectionate to its owners.
