Pomeranian or fondly called Pom is a toy breed of dog due to its very small size. Pomeranian comes from a larger breed of dogs German Spitz. Term Pomeranian comes from a region with name Pomerania that is situated in Western Europe and now a part of eastern Germany and northern Poland. Features of Pomeranian dogs: tiny and fluffy dog with wedge shaped head which makes it slightly resembling to Fox; ears are small and erect; eyes are almond shaped, bright, dark and highly expressive; distinct feathered tail carried over to its back and flat; top coat is fluffy, soft and thick whereas undercoat is long, straight and coarse with varying coat colors like blue, orange, brown, white, black, cream and also multi colored.

Qualities and temperament of Pomeranian: cute little dog, intelligent, loyal, always eager to learn, and alert. Weight is around 3 to 7 pounds and height is around 7 to 12 inches. Pomeranian lives an average life of around 15 years.
